AMIETE 2011 Entrance Exam Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers
The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) conducts Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (AMIETE) [Degree Level] & DIPETE (Diploma Level) Exams in the following streams:

Electronics & Telecommunications
Computer Science & Engineering
Information Technology (Degree level only)

IETE Conducts AMIETE Entrance Examinations every 6 months in June and December at its 42 centers in India and overseas.

Eligibility for AMIETE Entrance Examination 2011:
For AMIETE Graduateship: 10+2 or Equal with Physics & Maths and working experience in relevant area OR studying for higher qualification with Physics / Electricals / Electronics / Computer/ Science Engineering or Diploma.

Age Limit:
16 years

For Diploma (DiplETE): 10th or equal with General Science and working experience in relevant field OR studying for higher qualification with Physics / Maths/ ITI.

Age Limit:
14 years

For AMIETE (Degree Level): Examination is accredited through Govt of India and UPSC for Superior Posts & Services, State Govts, and through a big number of Universities / Institutions for higher education.

For Diploma lETE (Diploma Level): Examination is accredited through Govt of India for Subordinate Posts & Services and a number of State Govts, and Union Territories.

Application forms 2011 will be available directly from the institute or through sending a DD along with the request for form. Examinees can also transfer the IETE form by the official website.

Selection Procedure:
Selection based on AMIETE Entrance Exam, Group Dissection and Personal Interview.
