UPSC Assistant Commandant Notification
The Examination will be held in accordance with the Rules for the Examination published by Ministry of Home matters in the Gazette of India dated 9th May, The date of keeping the examination as mentioned above is liable to be changed at the discretion of the Commission. The Union Public Service Commission will hold a Written Examination on 11th October, for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the following Post:
Central Police Forces viz.
Border Security Force,
Central Reserve Police Force
Central Industrial Security Force,
Indo-Tibetan Border Police
Sashastra Seema BAL
Eligibility
(I) Nationality: No person who is not a national of India shall, except with the consent of the Central Government signified in writing be appointed or employed under these Rules.
(II) Furnished that nothing contained in these rules shall debar the appointment, registration or employment of a subject of Nepal or Bhutan under these rules.
(III) Sex: Both Male and Female students are eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant Commandants in CRPF and CISF.
(IV) However, for appointment to the post of Assistant Commandants in BSF, ITBP and SSB, only Male students are eligible.
(III) Age Limits : (a) A student must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August, 2009 , i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1984 and not later than 1st August, 1989 .

notification for the CPF AC 2010 now is coming on 29th may….has been delayed due to the delay of the written result of CPF AC 2009…UPSC will announce the written result first…then the new notification will come…final result will be announced before 24th oct..i.e. the written exam for the year2010..so wait for some time…
