Association of Private Medical & Dental Colleges OF U. P. is conducting All India Common Admission Test for admission to Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) course for the year 2011. Association of Pvt. Medical & Dental Colleges of Uttar Pradesh announces notification for BDS Admissions in participating institutes. Association of Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Uttar Pradesh is carrying on ALL India Common Admission Test UPCAT-DENTAL for admission into Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course 2011. All the colleges providing this BDS course under this entrance test are also established by authority; given authoritative approval by Government of India and are recognized by AICTE.

Eligibility criteria:
Candidate must have completed 10+2 level in science stream with biology as the mandatory subject with at least 50 % aggregate from the recognized board to be eligible for this course. Aspiring Candidate must not be less than 17 years of age to be eligible for this course.

UPCAT 2011 Application Forms can be obtained from participating colleges in person by Cash/DD of prescribed fees UPCAT 2010 Forms are available only at ORIENTAL BANK of COMMERCE Springdell College Branch Bichpuri Road, Pilibhit bypass Road, Bareilly-243006.
How to apply
The DD must only be drawn in favour of “ASSOCIATION OF PRIVATE MEDICAL & DENTAL COLLEGES OF UP” Payable at Bareilly. And also application download from its official web site.
UPCAT DENTAL 2011 BDS Selection Procedure:
Selection of the candidate is based on the personal interview and written test of the candidate. The candidate selection is also based on the rules and regulation of the UPCAT-Dental.
Examination pattern and syllabus:
Examination will be of 3 hours
Total number of questions – 200 MCQs
50 question each of physics, chemistry, botany and zoology.
+1 for correct answer and there will be no negative marking
The syllabus of examination is the course as per the class 12th examination
