Central Institute of Plastic Engineering & Technology conducts an admission process for admission to its Post Graduate courses. CIPET conducts Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission to its various Postgraduate courses. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a common admission test for the candidates seeking admission for M.Tech. Courses. It is manage or control by CIPET corporate during the month of July every year. Selection will be having a base on the marks secured by the candidate in JEE and the previous academic performance and as per norms of affiliating university.

Eligibility criteria:
For M.Tech (Plastic Engineering/Technology):
Candidate should have B.E. /B.Tech. /B.Sc. (4 Years) in Mechanical/Chemical/Production/Polymer/Tool Engineering or M.Sc. in Polymer Science/Chemistry with specialization in polymer
For M.Tech (Nanotechnology):
Candidate should have B.E./B.Tech (4 Years) in Plastics Engineering/Technology/Polymer/Chemical /Mechanical/M.Sc. in Polymer Chemistry/Polymer Science/Physics/Chemistry.
For M.Tech (CAD/CAM/CAE):
Candidate have B.E./B.Tech.(4 Years) in Mechanical/Production/Plastics/Polymer Technology/Engineering/Tool Engineering/Aeronautics/Automobile/Mechatronics.
Application Procedure
Application form can be obtained by cash from all CIPET centers against payment prescribes fees candidates in cash or draft in the favor of “CIPET CORPORATE” A/c No.10565622390 in any nationalized bank payable at Chennai or can be downloaded from the web site.
