Karunya University is a private university was Start and new organization or institution in 1986 year. This College provides UG and PG and any other courses in a various discipline. It is a deemed university located in the foothills of the High ranges of Siruvani. It has around 5400 fully resident students enjoying the serene environment of the 700 acres that make up their university campus. The university is situated in a particular spot or position at around 26 Kms from the Coimbatore airport. It is a fully residential co-educational university. Karunya University Entrance Exam 2011 will be held in the April for the students willing to join the UG programs offered by the institution.

Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission in the B.E and B.Tech programmes need to clear their 12th standard examination in the first attempt. Candidates are required to get 60% marks in aggregate and for math’s 60% is compulsory. The candidates should be below 21 years of age as on 1st July of the present year.
2011 Application Forms
Application form and prospectus can be obtained by sending a request along with a crossed demand draft of prescribed fees. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of “The Register, karunya University”. The request letter and the DD should be sent to the Admissions Officer, Karunya University, and Coimbatore-641 114. The NRI and foreign candidates need to pay an amount of USD. The entrance application forms can also be downloaded from the University website. The candidates downloading the application form from the site should make the payment at the time of submission.
Students Placement at Karunya
Karunya has a creditable record of placement of its final year students and graduates. A good number of final year students plan to go for higher studies in India or abroad or turn entrepreneurs. As per recent trends about 80% of eligible final year students, who seek a placement, are placed with reputed organizations at the initiative of the Karunya University prior to their leaving the campus.
