KCET 2010

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is an entrance examination carried each year for admission to several undergraduate dental, engineering, medical, architecture courses in the colleges and universities across Karnataka. Karnataka CET is carried and regulated by KEA. The admission through KCET is open only to the Karnataka residents; however there are some seats under management allotment which are for the non Karnataka students.

Eligibility criteria
For Medical/Dental Courses
A student must passed 10+2 or equal examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
Those who are coming in for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply.
Also a student should have achieved the age of 17 years but not more than 25 years as on 31st December, 2010.
