The Director of Technical Education, Assam conducts Assam Joint Admission Test 2011 for admission into the several undergraduate courses in the engineering college, medical college, regional dental college and ayurvedic college in the state of Assam and NIT (Assam state quota) are also chose by Assam JAT.

Eligibility for Joint Admission Test (JAT) Assam:
The examinee should be above 17 years of age and must be a resident of the state of Assam.
12th from Assam Hr. Sec. Education Council or an equal examination with PCM, and English securing 50% marks
Assam JAT 2011 Application Forms:
The application form can be transferred from the Director of Technical Education, Assam official website
Selection Procedure:
Selection based on JAT Entrance Exam
Test Pattern:
Mathematics – 100 Marks 3 hours
Physics – 100 Marks 3 hours
Chemistry – 100 Marks 3 hours
Biology – 100 Marks 3 hours
