Oncology Certified Nurse 2011 Entrance Exam
The OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) Nursing Examination 2011 is handled and directed through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC). The exam is computer-based and contained 4 times a year in January, April, July and October. It is provided once a year in a paper-and-pen format.

Eligibility for OCN Nursing Exam 2011:
The examinee must be a licensed certified nurse. The applicant must have minimum 1 year experience in the last three years. Also, the examinee must have the experience of 1000 hours in Oncology Nursing in the last 2 1/2 years.

Screening, Early Detection and Diagnosis – 7%
Scientific Basis for Practice including Research – 10%
Cancer Treatment Modalities – 15%
Symptom Management – 22%
Psychosocial Dimensions of Care – 7%
Oncologic Emergencies – 10%
Sexuality – 5%
Survivorship – 8%
End of Life Care – 6%
Professional Performance – 5%
