UPSC CDS 2011 Entrance Exam Combined Defence Services Examination
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Combined Defence Services Examination [CDS] (I), 2011 for admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy for the courses starting in January, 2012 and Officers Training Academy, Chennai for the courses (Men and Women) beginning in April, 2012

Eligibility for Union Public Service Commission Combined Defence Services Examination 2011:

For Indian Military Academy and Officers Training Academy: Degree of a recognized university or equivalent

For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering

For Air Force Academy: Degree of an accredited university (with Physics and Mathematics at 12th Stage) or Bachelor of Engineering

UPSC – CDS 2011 Application Forms:
Application forms 2011 will be available at designated Post Offices and UPSC official website.

Selection Procedure 2011:
Selection based on Written Exam and Personal Interview

Key Dates (Tentative):
Date of Written Test: Mid of February, 2011

Please note that the dates are only tentative and are not final. The post will be updated as soon as the dates are officially released.

Candidates apply Online at UPSC official website. Application form duly filled accompanied through self-attested Xerox copies of the relevant certificates/ testimonials, along with a crossed DD of Suggested fee send to required address:

    sir, i have applied for the CDS I, 2011, exam to be held on FEB, 13th 2011. i have not yet received the acknowledge for the application posted, neither i have received a hall ticket, till date(16.01.2011). the phone nos at delhi army headquarters, are not answered please advise me sir/madam.
