Coast Guard Assistant Commandant (General Duty-Pilot Navigator) Exam is directed for recruiting examinees to become class I gazette officer as Assistant Commandant (General Duty) in Indian Coast Guard. It may be recruited similar posts in 2012.

Eligibility for Coast Guard Assistant Commandant (General Duty-Pilot Navigator) Exam :
A Graduate’s degree with Physics and Maths as disciplines. The examinee is also needed to hold a Commercial Pilot license.

Age Limit: 19-27

Physical Requirements:
Height: Height should be atleast 162 cms and maximum 197 cms.
Chest: Should be well developed with minimum expansion of 5 cm
Weight: Proportionate to height and age (+10 per cent acceptable).
Eye Sight: 6/6(without glasses)

Selection Procedure for Coast Guard Assistant Commandant (General Duty-Pilot Navigator) Exam:
Selection based on marks received in the qualifying examination, sporting achievements and NCC. Shortlisted examinees are invited for Preliminary Selection.
