All India Institute of Medical Sciences was instituted as an institution of national authoritative by an Act of Parliament with the aims to develop formulas of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to present a high standard of Medical Education in India. AIIMS is a medical college and hospital in New Delhi, India. The institute was originally made as a Superspeciality tertiary care centre with primary emphasis on research and particularized training facilities. Students aspiring for career in Biotechnology should have a scientific aptitude and a keen interest in the biological sciences. The candidate selected admission for M Sc degree specialize in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Pharmacology or drugs Assay.
Master’s degree in Biotechnology (M Biotech):
Master’s degree in Biotechnology two year course was began in 1986. This new venture in an emerging discipline has been designed to produce a cadre of scientists required for highly specialized fields such as vaccine production.
