Examinees Seeking admission into the Diploma in Outdoor and Adventure Learning (DOAL) should enjoy functioning with youth in the outdoor environment consisting of natural and adventurous elements. DOAL examinees are permitted to enroll into Republic Polytechnic on the condition that they pass a medical exam through a registered medical general practitioner.
The Diploma in Outdoor and Adventure Learning curriculum objectives to equip scholars with the knowledge and abilities to meet the developing needs of the outdoor and adventure industry. It uses various methodologies – Experiential Learning, Problem-based Learning, Laboratory-supported Projects and an Industrial Immersion curriculum – to offer experiences beyond the classroom.
The Diploma in Outdoor and Adventure Learning programme will need from scholars a substantial amount of involvement in physical activity and water-based experiential actions. For information on the medical conditions and medical form for exam, please refer to Annex A. The fee for the medical exam is to be borne through the applier. Examinees who do not pass the medical exam will not be assumed into the Diploma in Outdoor and Adventure Learning.
