A City Community Garden
City Community Garden alignment is non-profit organizations integrate in 1998. Our mission is to encourage the preservation, creation, and empowerment of community gardens by education, advocacy, and grassroots organizing. Their mission is to foster civic participation and encourage neighborhood revitalization while maintain open space. The arbitrary majority of GT gardens are situated in economically unfortunate community planning districts that receive federal financial confirm by a complement of open space, low-priced housing, and economic development.
Volunteer Opportunities
Help organize and build new gardens.
Assist in garden clean-up, programs, and social events.
Work with skilled leaders to assist with children’s and classroom gardens.
Connect with potential gardeners.
Assist with the bi-monthly bulletin.
Assist with public relations, fundraising, and grant writing.
