What is Uterus Polyp?
Uterine polyps is well known as endometrial polyp. Uterine polyps consist of extra tissue which develop on the internal walls of a woman’s uterus. It could also cause a miscarriage after the embryo has implanted. The uterine polyps might even reduction blood flow in parts of the endometrial lining.

Uterus polyps are normally benign, or noncancerous, though in persistently perennial cases, a biopsy may be taken as a precaution. When a diagnostic test is essential, a process called curettage is performed. This procedure uses a long, thin metal instrument equip with a loop on the end, called a curet, to scrape the interior walls of the uterus and remove the polyp. Biopsy results that are mode of the presence of cancer might command a hysterectomy, or the surgical removal of the uterus.
