Partridge is a small game bird belonging to the pheasant family. Partridge was first found to North America in 1889, when the gray partridge was add into Virginia. Partridges are medium-sized birds, intermediate between the larger pheasants and the tiny quails. Partridges are native to Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Partridges are ground-nesting seed-eaters.
Reproduction of The partridge when the men or female partridge lays 15 eggs at one time. Eggs are normally placed in a grass nest, which is much situated in a bush, grainfield or small field.
